BETTER LEADERS - BETTER DECISIONS - BETTER RESULTS

Your Leadership Voice

Just got back from a weekend workshop in Washington DC with 20 Vistage Chairs.  In addition to being an exhausting and uplifting experience, I heard one of my peers describing her work as “Helping business leaders find their leadership voice.”

Got to thinking about that. If you had to describe YOUR leadership voice, what would it sound like?  Strident?  Friendly?  Supplicating?  Positive?  Encouraging?  Demanding?  Whining (sorry, I forgot that CEOs never whine!)

If you wanted to find out what your team thought about this, how could you ask them?   Does your leadership voice speak to you the same way it speaks to your employees?

Just something to think about.
